LASER ENGRAVING IRELAND (RASTER) EXPLAINED

Laser Engraving is a process where the surface of various materials are marked using varying degrees of laser power. As we use a s state of the art machine we can achieve incredible levels of detail. The type of engraving discussed in this section is raster engraving, where solid blocks of material are engraved a line at a time to achieve the desired effect.

WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE USING RASTER LASER ENGRAVING

Raster laser engraving is a technique where through the use of a vector based design programs, solid blocks of material are removed or marked from the surface of material. GUIDE LINES FOR RASTER ENGRAVING FILES

• Be in a vector format: we recommend Adobe Illustrator but we can work with other formats on request.

• Heavy engraving Black on the RGB swatch

• Light engraving Blue on the RGB swatch

• RGB BLUE = R000, G000, B255

• RGB BLACK = R000, G000, B000

• 5mm from the edge of the sheet

• Zoom set to 100%

• 720 x 420  maximum sheet size

• Convert all text to shapes
