LASER ENGRAVING IRELAND (VECTOR) EXPLAINED

Vector laser engraving is a different process from raster engraving. Instead of engraving blocks of material, a fine beam is used to engrave lines on to the surface. it is very similar to how laser cutting is used,  but less power is used so that the laser doesn't go through the material it just marks the surface. This process is great for more technical applications like model making and architectural prototyping.

WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE USING VECTOR LASER ENGRAVING

Vector engraving can create amazingly detailed projects, it is actually a much quicker process than raster engraving and should be considered when trying to achieve more technical  finishes. We can vector engrave on many materials including acrylic , wood, card, leather and many more. To see the full range of materials available for engraving head over to our materials section.
